Andrew from Inspector Jet took the time to have a phone call and detailed discussion about the job before he turned up on time for our appointment a few days later 14/07/23. He was well prepared and had accessed plans to be able to see where our problem might be. He went right to work outside in the drains at our brand new rental property for starters and discovered a broken poly pipe and another pipe full with slurry and building rubble. This went some way to explain the gag inducing stench for the last 3 weeks of our new leased apartment and driveway sewage overspill that made our carport unusable for 3 days. The original plumber for the build came and claimed he fished a nappy out of the drain which he called a soft block, leaving without completing the WA Health Department protocols of cleaning a black water spill on the property affecting the entire carport. On another occasion the same original build plumber ran the shower for 5 minutes and looked into the shower drain with an iPhone torch before declaring “nope there’s nothing there”, and leaving. I nearly keeled over during this visit with the stench coming from the same shower drain. Andrew had a compressor on the back of his Ute, a camera, jetting equipment and all the plumbing tools you could imagine. He applied his knowledge and know how, after listening carefully, looked at plans and found faults in the plumbing and reasons for the problems we were reporting. He then set about jetting the drains and removed copious sand, slurry and mess from the pipes. He has truly been very helpful! He also took a video for us of the problems in the drains and pipes to give to the landlord and property manager, and also wrote a report which we have forwarded on. Good old fashioned manners and service with superior problem solving skills and the necessary equipment to fix the problem. We highly recommend Andrew from Inspector Jet.

After working with several other plumbers , it’s refreshing to find a plumber who not only does a great job, listens and explains options and choices - but also charges a rate that is hourly based and fair. Highly recommend Andrew and happily have passed on his number to other friends .

Andrew was the second plumber we called out having been unsatisfied with a different company who was unable to tell us what was wrong and was going to charge $1000+ to 'try' a solution. He assessed the situation, provided us with clear advice regarding different options for management, then did a great job at fixing our plumbing issue, all for a very reasonable price.
