After spending a large amount of money (nearly 4k) on another plumber's work that failed within just three months, I was extremely frustrated and stressed. After the research, I then contacted Ian, and the experience was completely different. He showed up at my house within 2 hours, carried out a CCTV camera inspection, and quickly identified the exact point where tree roots had entered the old terracotta pipe. Ian cleared the blockage on the spot and explained everything clearly. We then scheduled a permanent repair for three days later — and he turned up exactly on time as promised. Ian removed the damaged terracotta section, replaced it with PVC, and restored the pavers so well that you honestly can’t even tell any work was done. The workmanship and attention to detail were outstanding. Plus, he not only looks after your property, but also looks after your wallet. He was honest, practical, and focused on the right solution rather than the most expensive one. After dealing with poor-quality work before, this was a huge relief. I genuinely can’t recommend Ian highly enough. Please do your research — good reviews exist for a reason. If you need a reliable plumber, use Ian！

Ian is prompt, pleasant and fast to diagnose and fix my water problem. A simple fix, but not something the normal layman would find. Water hammer problem, solution, disintegrated washer in cold washing machine tap. I am very happy with Ian work, timeliness and left everything clean. Would I have him back. DEFINITELY. Ian was back late December to supply and replace my kitchen taps. Awesome work again. Thank you

Ian from Drains Plus had done a stellar job for me previously so I didn’t hesitate to call him again when I had another drainage problem. He said that he would get to my place the next day, and after arriving earlier than expected before I got home, he called me and let me know that he had already investigated and resolved an ingress of tree roots at the deep connection below the inspection riser point. Ian came promptly when we had an issue with blocked pipes. He immediately fixed our initial blockage and then returned to dig out and replaced the old terracotta plumbing and replace old overhead piping. We were pleased with his work and it was a fair price. Ian added an access port to the upright and a mandatory access into the concrete paving. It all functions well. The finish on the concrete paving could have been neater but it functions well.

Can't recommend Ian at Drains Plus highly enough, he was great. We've had a blocked drain problem on & off for years, with various plumbers trying to find a fix. Nothing worked until Ian took a look and fixed it immediately! Service from Drains Plus couldn't be better.
