  Giles was amazing and reliable. He repaired the pipes that had been an issue for us since we purchased our home in Trinity Beach over a year ago. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly including photos and videos. He has a wealth of knowledge and was very easy to deal with. I would urge anyone considering his services not to hesitate and would happily have him work on our home again. It is great to be able to use all of our facilities again in our home.   Just before Christmas we had the pleasant situation of toilet paper and nuggets floating up out of the pool backwash drain and in to the backyard. We had a few goes of unblocking the sewer with conduits, our pressure washer and two plunges and while we got it 'pretty good', it tended to overflow if we let all the kids bathwater out at once or I tried to backwash the pool again. Finally giving up and seeking a professional for the job, I was lucky that Giles happened to be in the area so he was able to come around to take a quick look. All done in less than 1.5hrs, he used his camera snake and a probe to trace the pipe to a T-junction, gain access to that with a relatively small hole in the lawn and a pressure hose to try and clear the blockage. As it turns out the NBN conduit from over 12 months ago had bored straight through our sewer line, so while it was surprising we hadn't had any major issues until now, it's something that was never going to be resolved by me dumping bathwater and hammering away with a plunger. What impressed me the most was Giles took a video of the situation, sent it to council, let me know that Council would be on-site tomorrow to fix it and had a CRM for me from the job he just logged to council. Sure enough 8am Council turned up and spent most of the day excavating and fixing it - and I hadn't sent a single email, made a single call or had to do any follow-up to try and get it resolved. Extremely happy with the prompt service, the skills and tools that Giles used to find the problem, and what I believe is above and beyond service to have also let Council know of their issue on my behalf. Giles has been added to my list of 'good trades' in Cairns, bringing it all the way up to 4.

  For my wife and I, 2025 did not start very well at Clifton Beach. We had a blocked sewerage pipe that had been corrupted by tree roots and it was not exactly pleasant. To the rescue (at very short notice) came Giles from Nuflow Cairns who was able to clear the problem with his expert skills and equipment. Yet he took a "deeper dive" with his remote camera into the pipes under our home and also discovered potentially bigger problems due to cracked pipes which required urgent attention lest we had a major plumbing issue to deal with. Over the next few days Giles and Ben eliminated the problem junctions and provided us with a first class solution. We have no hesitation in recommending Nuflow Cairns if you have pipes needing repair.

  If I could give more than 5 stars I would! This is actually the first review I’ve ever felt the need to write because of how appreciative we are of everything Giles was able to do for us. We are first home buyers and were in for a huge shock on Monday when our drains all started blocking up and shower flooded the bathroom one week after moving in. Contacted a different company first who hit us with a hefty bill and weren’t even able to clear the blockage or give us answers on what was going on. Things then escalated pretty significantly and we were then pressured to sign waivers for cool down periods, pay deposits on the spot, claiming needed to bring in excavators and demolish garden shed and concrete flooring, which was going to cost us an astronomical amount! I was able to speak with Giles the next morning who was absolutely amazing and went out of his way to come and have a look for us. Giles was today able to clear the blockage, and we have a very small repair job to complete in the new year which he will take care of. Giles was no nonsense, talked us through it all, provided clear explanations of what the issue actually was, and so easy to deal with especially coming into the busy Christmas period. I couldn’t imagine where we would be financially if Giles wasn’t able to help. If you have any plumbing issues I 100% recommend Nuflow be your first point of contact.

  I knew I had the the right guys when I contacted giles. It was a simple and easy rescue of the broken down pipe that was blocked with tree roots. Ben and Giles are the dream team. Were very clean workers and did their best not to destroy my garden. It was a joy working with them. Thanks very much guys

  Giles was referred to me by another plumber who was unable to resolve the issue with roots in my sewer line due to a very tricky location. Giles called me on the same day and was able to resolve the problem saving me a considerable amount of money in the process. Giles was a pleasure to deal with and I would highly recommend to anyone considering.
