When our hot water tank decided not to heat water I phoned Hawkesbury Plumbing at 3pm, spoke to Callum and he sent a quote to replace tank. As soon as I received the quote we accepted and Callum was able to arrange delivery of tank and installation for the next morning. Job done. Excellent service.

I have attempted a few times to get a septic tank to sewer connection completed at a property in the Hawkesbury. After a couple of false starts with other plumbers, I contacted Hawkesbury Plumbing & Drainage. They jumped into it with a fair quote, fast start time and even with limited access got the job completed in a super fast time. I can't recommend them enough! 5 Stars!

We had an emergency leak (unfortunately deep inside concrete and brick) that Callum and his team addressed very quickly. The issue involved a decent amount of work but they kept us informed of what needed to happen and they got it fixed for a price we were happy with. Very trustworthy, and I was impressed at how they fixed the issue so efficiently. I'd highly recommend.

Cal and the team have been looking after our plumbing repairs and upgrades for the last few years and have always gone above and beyond. Most recently they have handled the plumbing and drainage on a new commercial build and we couldn't be happier with their professionalism and guidance throughout the build.

Frequently asked questions

How much do plumbers typically charge?
Plumbing costs vary significantly depending on the type of job and its complexity. Simple fixture repairs are generally much less than jobs involving pipe replacement, excavation or gas appliance work. Most quotes include a call-out fee, hourly labour and parts, with after-hours or emergency attendance usually attracting higher rates. This page shows live pricing for jobs in your area.
Do plumbers charge call-out fees?
Call-out fees are common and are often used to cover travel and the initial assessment. Plumbers typically add hourly labour and any materials or replacement parts to the call-out fee. After-hours, weekend or emergency attendances are usually charged at higher rates and some small jobs may have a minimum charge.
Do plumbers need a licence in Australia?
Yes. Plumbing work must be carried out by a licensed plumber in every Australian state and territory, and in NSW the regulator is NSW Fair Trading (Building Commission NSW). Plumbers will generally provide their licence number and should be able to supply compliance certificates for regulated work. Look for an ABN, public liability insurance and relevant industry memberships as additional trust signals.
