I requested a quote online for some minor plumbing works and Luke responded within the hour with very competitive pricing. I booked him in for the job but due to a very last minute change in plans, I had to cancel the booking which was scheduled the following morning. Luke was very understanding despite giving him only half a day's notice, and even refused my offer of a call out fee. Good customer service can be hard to come by these days, and even though I didn't go through with this job, I'd happily recommend him to others and use him in the future just on customer service alone.

Yet another superb experience with Luke & 4 Elements Plumbing - it is great to have excellent Local Northern Beaches Tradesmen, who are residents, and on whom you can rely. Youngest Daughter, Son in Law & Grandkids had identified a hissing sound in the kitchen cupboards - soon to be 80, it was only when my wife noticed damp spreading around that floor area, that we could both hear the hissing sound - obviously copper water pipe leaking. Having previously used Luke & 4 Elements Plumbing, based on friends recommendation, and been extremely happy with both his response & work carried out, I gave Luke a ring and was given a date 2 days ahead - turned off water overnight in the meantime Having been an owner builder in the 70s & 80s, but hitting 80, being too old to crawl around under the house & go on my knees to get in Kitchen Cupboards, I had thoughts on how I would approach the solution - My Wife in the meantime cleaned out the Under Sink Kitchen Cupboard and the Corner Cupboard where the hissing was coming from. Luke arrived at time agreed, and immediately, having heard the hissing, cut a panel out of the corner cupboard (As I had thought would be 1st step) and said would have to change pipe. As we have had a lot of water hammer, I asked if he could install a Sioux Chief Water Hammer Arrester-3/4" Tee that I had previously purchased, in the Water Copper Pipe run under the house and install 3 shut off valves, so in the future when problems occurred we could isolate specific areas, whilst being able to continue in the other areas. Luke & his assistant went to work - He showed me photos of the area of the damaged pipe and some previous dodgy work, where the dishwasher outlet pipe had been duct taped to outlet drain and was disintegrating. He also identified that he needed to strap the long water copper pipe run to help stop water hammer. The Job was completed in 5 Hours and a really neat new pipe had been run through the floor next to the Sink Drain Outlet and he had installed ministop tap just below sink taps, so if & when we want to replace sink taps, all we had to do was just turn off water supply to sink - thoughtful extra by Luke 4 Elements Plumbing Scope of works: 12/2/25 - Leak detected on the cold pipe behind kitchen cabinetry. A line re-run will be required from under the house. - Cut copper pipe under the house and run a new 15mm copper line to the under sink area. Install a new 19 threaded point and ministop tap. Secure line with saddles. Also secure loose pipes with band iron. - Install customer supplied water hammer arrestor on cold line under house. - Cut in x3 20mm ball valves on the cold lines under the house for isolation control as requested by the client. Use press no.2's to make the connections. - Fix the bad waste plumbing under the house so that the appliance drain waste line discharges into the trap without overflowing. - Test, commission and remove rubbish In summary, reasonable price for a job extremely well done, and executed with efficiency & cleanliness - PS we have not had any water hammer from 2 washing machines, 2 dishwashers since - Bliss I Highly Recommend Luke & 4 Elements Plumbing
