Zac from Earth 360 is the best! The projects: We needed to plan and implement water flow management and landslide clearing in our property in Byron Bay Hinterland after the floods of 2022 and other areas to develop and landscape as well. The Outcome: Zac put in a couple of swales, few french drains and improved the general water flow at the property. He also constructed a complete new driveway and landscaped an area that was high maintenance into a beautiful low maintenance terraced garden area. Zac is very knowledgeable, hard working and truely listen to your ideas and desired outcomes. He gave us great advice on solutions and styles to achieve beautiful, practical and functional areas. It is rare to find a contractor that keeps to his/her word these days so with Zac you won’t have any dramas as he will deliver what he promises and more! We highly recommend Zac and Earth360 services!

Zac is a super skilled operator with great attention to detail. In particular we were looking for someone with an understanding of permaculture principles for making swales and channelling water over large areas. I was very impressed with Zac's knowledge and inputs on this topic and the swales he made for us are amazing. I can very much recommend!

It was an absolute pleasure working with Zac at 360 Earth. We had a challenging scenario with water running under the house and general drainage being a problem. Zac provided us with options and estimates to allow us to decide on the best solution to our situation, at a price we could afford. As the work commenced other jobs arose and Zac was very happy to assist with those as well. After Zac left, the place looked so much better with a beautifully battered bank, a reworked driveway and a contoured bank that has already proven to have simplified maintenance. Zac had a great work attitude, great ideas and was very easy to talk to about all aspects of the job. We highly recommend 360 Earth for excavation and garden landscaping. A job very well done!!

Zac is one of those human beings who is likely to become an indispensable resource for your property, and for deepening your own understanding of your land. Zac recrafted our long-neglected 250 metre, steeply sloped driveway into an aesthetic and structurally sound feature. His holistic approach included suggestions for water capture and drainage on our property. We appreciated Zac's communication and updates, along with ideas for further possible mitigation measures. We also benefitted from Zac's ownership of an expansive range of machinery, his extremely competent skills and finesse as an operator, and his extensive and dependable local contacts for quality materials and operators. Thanks Zac, for the care, experience, and many skills you brought to the restoration of our newly robust and elegant driveway. Robin & Linda Main Arm, NSW

Frequently asked questions

How much do plumbers typically charge?
Plumbing costs vary significantly depending on the type of job and its complexity. Simple fixture repairs are generally much less than jobs involving pipe replacement, excavation or gas appliance work. Most quotes include a call-out fee, hourly labour and parts, with after-hours or emergency attendance usually attracting higher rates. This page shows live pricing for jobs in your area.
Do plumbers charge call-out fees?
Call-out fees are common and are often used to cover travel and the initial assessment. Plumbers typically add hourly labour and any materials or replacement parts to the call-out fee. After-hours, weekend or emergency attendances are usually charged at higher rates and some small jobs may have a minimum charge.
Do plumbers need a licence in Australia?
Yes. Plumbing work must be carried out by a licensed plumber in every Australian state and territory, and in NSW the regulator is NSW Fair Trading (Building Commission NSW). Plumbers will generally provide their licence number and should be able to supply compliance certificates for regulated work. Look for an ABN, public liability insurance and relevant industry memberships as additional trust signals.
