Don't buy a house without your own independent Building and Pest Inspection from BPI North Coast. I was about to buy a house on the North Coast of NSW and had already given a holding deposit on an old Queenslander house, to the Real Estate Agent and while waiting for the contract to be drawn up, I asked BPI North Coast to undertake Building and Pest Inspection. They found the house full of termites something the current owner was not aware of. They damage was extensive, walls, ceiling, under-floor. Thank you BPI North Coast for saving me hundreds of thousands, of dollars. If I purchase the house I would not of had the finances to repair the termite damage, if I purchased that house. Their report was quite extensive and the Jesse Alexander was more than happy to walk me though his report so I could comprehend the damage that the termites were causing / had caused. Jesse Alexander of BPI Building and Pest Inspections is thorough, detailed, observant, personable, courteous, and skilled, not to mention professional and completely worth the money. In addition, after an almost two hour inspection, much in the rain, he still managed to get us a highly useful report of 45 pages by 7:00 pm that night. He most certainly helped us make a tough decision on whether or not to buy the house in question.
