Left our doors unlocked when leaving, left drip marks down the walls, did not effectively tape or cover areas - paint on our mirrors and cupboards. Did not respond to email alerting him to areas needing fixing. Quick work, but lacked care and precision.

Worryingly aggressive staff with careless finishes Once job was finished payment was requested on the spot ($8300 plus GST) with the reassurance they would return for touch ups when I had the chance to do a proper once over. Next day I sent the manager Pete photos of what needed work. He said he was going overseas but the painter on site, Kian, would fix the work. A few days later Kian texted me asking to see the pics. This included patching up power point holes that Pete had said they would try to fix but to understand the team had already tried their best. On receiving these pics Kian sent multiple texts aggressively debating each shot. I called him. He picked up and immediately began screaming down the phone - which included telling me i was crazy and that he wasn't coming back and to take it up with Pete. I couldn't get a word in. He was so loud my kids could hear the yelling which just added to a horrible, unprecedented situation where I was having to deal with what is meant to be a professional tradesman behaving like an hysterical, threatening thug. I called and texted Pete immediately. I haven't heard a word back. I'm now paying a handyman to fix their careless, unprofessional workmanship. The instant, free flowing aggression when the work was questioned and refusal to fix what is clearly substandard is astonishing. I have now lodged a complaint against Pars Painting with VCAT.
