After 4 quotations, Paintpal is the most competitive for exterior painting of weatherboards for a upper storey house. Fred and his team are polite, have very good manners and are friendly. Fred did a close colour match and gave us photos of the exsiting condition of our weatherboards (which were quite bad for the west facing part). He gave advice for 3 coats instead of 2, and we decided to go ahead with his advice. The quote was readjusted, which was still reasonably priced. We were informed at every stage of the project through phone texts, without us needing to ask about the team's movements. So communication from Fred exceeded our expectations. They were on time each day for the project. Service and work quality also went beyond expectations as Fred takes pride in doing a good paint job. The photos attached are evidence of the Team's work. When we were first looking for painting and plastering services, we were looking for someone who was pleasant to work with and who cared about doing a good quality job for us. We got all this and more with Paintpal. Fred and his team went above and beyond for us. We had a difficult property to work with - it is older and had not been well maintained by the previous owner. There were lots of opportunities to take short cuts but Fred never did - always taking the option that would achieve the best and most immaculate result. Fred was very responsive and responded to us late after hours and on weekends. He was extremely patient with us, even when we changed the scope many times and (in our ignorance) sampled primary colours directly on to the wall which meant he had to do extra sanding and apply extra coats which he kindly did not charge us for.
