I highly recommend Nicholls Brothers Painting.. From quotation to the finished result, I couldn’t have been happier. I had all of the interior of my house painted and it has made such a massive difference. It wasn’t an easy job, half way through I had a significant roof leak, however, Ben repainted all the impacted areas and you’d never know anything happened. Reliable, tidy, respectful, friendly and a great painter, couldn’t have asked for more!

Ben did a marvellous job of painting (and patching up) the interior of our new home, a dated and tired older property in need of a lot of work. He initially impressed us at the quoting stage - a really likeable guy and clearly very knowledgeable when we spoke, followed by a detailed formal written quote. His pricing was fair and reasonable for the size of the job, so given his evident experience and good rapport, we gladly booked him in right away. Nothing was too much for Ben, calmly and with a lovely jolly demeanour embracing the challenges he faced each day at the house, with me asking many questions and adding extra handyman jobs along the way! I nicknamed him the magician, patching up holes, making windows look fresh and new and generally transforming our 70’s bungalow into something much more funky and modern. His communication was excellent, always letting us know when he’d be in the next day, how things were tracking and offering advice on all sorts of things, undoubtedly beyond his remit. Clearly a patient man, working around our young children on some days and lots of other tradesmen coming in and out - still managing to finish the job on schedule, despite the extra add on jobs. Putting the bins out each week (for 3 weeks), without me even having to ask demonstrated to me what a kind and considerate worker Ben is - a rare find these days! All round, a really lovely guy who we enjoyed having around the house while he worked his magic. Looking forward to engaging his transformative flair again in the coming months and no doubt years to come!
