We used N and H Painters in Geelong to paint the exterior of our 105 yr old weatherboard home in Central Geelong, in September of this year. It was the best decision and choice of experienced painters than we could have ever hoped for. We had N&H Painters repaint most of the inside and the entire outside of our home before putting it on the market—and from start to finish, Nev and his family were just brilliant. Our house is spread over four levels (not exactly a simple job), but nothing was ever too hard or too much trouble. Nev brought not only years of experience but also a great eye—he often suggested thoughtful improvements we hadn’t even considered. He was upfront with quotes, clear on timing, and always followed through. What really stood out, though, was the people. This is a true family business, and we honestly grew to love having them around. They worked hard, consistently, and with real care—but there was always time for a bit of cheerful banter too. Even our dog looked forward to seeing them each day. As someone working from home through the whole project, I appreciated how respectful, tidy, and easy to have around they were. And when we needed extra trades, Nev passed on some great contacts—including a builder who turned out to be outstanding. Their pricing was competitive, but the quality and service were a level above. We didn’t want to cut corners—we loved our home and wanted the next owners to love it too. Thanks to N&H, we were able to present it in the best possible light.
