I’ve been served by Theo at Haymes Paint Shop for almost 5 years, and in all that time, his kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for customers have never changed. Every visit, Theo greets us with a warm smile, offers expert advice, and goes above and beyond to make sure we leave with exactly what we need. It’s rare to find someone so consistent, trustworthy, and dedicated to their work. Theo isn’t just great at his job — he makes the entire shopping experience better. In my opinion, he truly deserves to be recognised and promoted to a head or manager role. Thank you, Theo, for your incredible service over the years. My backyard fence was proving difficult to paint as it was absorbing oddly and turning the colour very different to the swatches. Haymes paint stayed most true to the swatch colour so I went with them, and I'm so glad I did. The fence continued to wreak havoc on the colour (and my sanity) but Tony and the team were so patient with my requests for re-tinting and making suggestions for how to get to the colour I wanted. They were all so lovely and helpful. They even carried the paint out to my car. The fence colour is now perfect, I'm stoked with it.

I often work in different areas, and this was my first time visiting this Haymes shop. I said “Hello” — no response. I told them the paint I wanted — no response again. While I was still giving my order, they rushed to get the first item they heard, and I had to say my order wasn’t finished yet. It felt like they didn’t want to communicate at all. Please have whoever trains your other stores also train this one. Even if it’s the closest store to me, I will not come back here. I purchase $15-20k worth of paint every month, yet the staff here treat us as if we were their workers.
