Clara Painting

New review from large interior job in May 2025: Update Jan 2026 - I write this review somewhat reluctantly because I understand the stress and pressure business owners go through and I do my best to support small businesses and I feel that I have done so with Amir and Clara painting with almost $15k in business where he tented to small-medium jobs at our rental property, which we then decided to extensively renovate and move into to start a family. This is where we re-engaged with Amir to do a big job to repaint the entire interior of our now home. Initially Amir was great. Highly responsive, very reasonable and accomodating with requests and I want to call out that the job was fairly big as there was quite a bit of damage left from the previous tenants and we were very selective about the paint, opting for Dulux wash and wear as opposed to the Dulux trade paint he recommended, but he happily obliged to use wash and wear and we even went with the colour suggestion which we were very happy with. Upon completion (where again Amir was highly communicative and reasonable with working through tight deadlines which he agreed he could get done by, whilst working on other jobs), there were quite a few imperfections which were documented and addressed at the time straight after completion, but the attention to detail and rectifications were just not up to scratch and after a few months, these really started to show. Pictured is everything Amir has unfortunately left us high and dry to either rectify ourselves or get him to come back and fix (both at our cost) as he feels he’s done the right thing morally and by building code after a lengthy ChatGPT response by email after I sought out support to fix these issues. Have a look for yourself through the photos and you decide if the work is fair and reasonable…the unfortunate part is, if he had accommodated and came back to fix these issues (which are literally attention to detail items that may take a few hours), this review could have been avoided. Old Review from small - medium jobs Amir did: Amir and his trades did a great job for a very competitive price. He made some recommendations with the exterior cladding painting so that no water would come through and the paint would last as long as possible. He was responsive to an issue with some paint that spilled onto the wall from the ceiling and fixed it up on the same day I called him. Would definitely recommend Clara Painting.

We were lucky to find Amir and his team. They did an outstanding job to paint our house. They also recommended us a good brand and combination of colors to make our house and help with us with fixing the door and some parts of the house. We definitely recommend Amir and his team.
