Travis Krieg Painting

We first met Travis back in September 2025 when he visited our house to provide us a quotation for painting. Our house was built in 1928, an old character home now in desperate need of maintenance work. After the house took a toll of more than 10 year’s on the rental market it was time for us to come home and search for the “ Right People” to help us bring our vision to life whilst working within our budget. As our quotes came in-we knew the decision was going to be a very important one and for us and the fit just had to be right. Our expectation’s were high. The reason why we chose Travis Krieg Painting was based on “ Gut Instinct” a feeling of confidence & trust that was installed by Travis during the quotation process. After visiting a few different paint stores and chatting to numerous people we discovered that Travis and his team had a good reputation and that cemented our decision to move forward with them. We knew our 98 year old home would indeed present some challenges along the way and from time to time when we visited the house we could see the level of preparation work that Mark and his team were undertaking. Time seemed to pass when we could only see preparation work being done. Once the painting work commenced the level of finish was smooth, crisp and clean. We believed at that stage that “ If” we had chosen a different company we would not have received that level of care and investment. Mark and his team were open to question’s and at times when I presented a few changes they adapted well both positively and professionally. We always felt comfortable to talk about the process with Travis and Mark. Our opinion is because of the time taken and invested into the preparation in the old damaged wall’s & wood the finished result is a modern, smooth and exceptionally clean finish. One of the most important decision’s you will make when you embark on this process is your choice in colour and you will learn how that will dramatically transform your house. Light reflects and dances about during different times of the day, take your time with this decision and get advice to help guide you with your vision, you will not regret it! Travis finished our project by installing an epoxy finish on our old damaged uneven front verandah floor. Travis’s epoxy finish makes this area look modern yet very complimentary to the heritage roots of the home.
