I can't recommend Peter enough. Start to finish, he was very polite and professional. His communication through-out the job was great, and is very skilled and passionate in what he does. You couldn't tell the difference after he was finished. Will definitely be using his service again if I need.

I was extremely fortunate to stumble across Peter Murphy’s Handyman business online last week when I was seeking a painter for a small gable repaint; that many painter considered ‘too small’ to quote or offered ridiculous pricing. Peter was able to fit in the work, between his busy schedule’ to accommodate my need; as I quickly decided to sell my home. The gable was a little ratty and Peter’s attention to detail was very welcome. He prides himself on doing a quality job; undercoating and two top coats completes a premium repair. After he finished the face of my home is back to being inviting and looking its best. I would highly recommend his work and service. A before and after shows the transformation.

Peter has unusual delight in his work. He is meticulous, first to make sure he knows what his client (myself) wants. He then goes about doing his work thoroughly with attention to the detail it requires. The best part about Peter is watching how much he enjoys working. He actually is one of a few people who wants to work and do his best. Add to that, I watch him talk to, give permission and encouragement to a young man looking for, and willing to, work. Peter cares for the young man, makes sure that he drinks water, takes breaks, sits and talks with him. It is more than neighbourliness. It is no surprise that he comes from a background of wood/timber workers, cabinet makers. BUT, Peter does what he does with enjoyment and gratitude for work-as he always says: "Thanks for the work." He means it with humility.
