McLeod's Painting

After stumbling around using mediocre painters for a number of projects, we finally landed on McLeod’ Painting and are stoked with the results. Not only are they reasonably priced, they take care of your property and have the attention to detail expected when painting. Soma was great to deal with and kept us in the loop as the job progressed. It’s really amazing what a coat of paint can do to to freshen things up!

I cannot recommend McLeod's Painting more highly. From the quotation through to completion Shane and Soma kept us fully informed and advised; Shane's advice on paint selection was invaluable. The job consisted of a complete rescrew of the roof with cyclone screws and heat reflective paint for both roof and walls. The price quoted was very competitive compared with a local Port Douglas company. Execution of the work was performed with friendliness, efficiency and professionalism by Matt (walls and gutters) and Shannon (roof). Both faced challenges from the trees in adjacent gardens dropping leaves and pollen and wet weather.These challenges were faced and overcome without complaint. On completion, Shane and Soma visited to perform a quality check and to ensure that we were completely satisfied with the result. I have to say that we are delighted with the results and would not hesitate to recommend them to all.

McLeod's painted the inside of our home, first, then we got them back to paint the exterior. We are extremely happy with the results, and with the professionalism of the contracted painters. Having the inside of a home painted can be very intrusive, and can upset normal home routines - however the painters made sure they painted the most important rooms first (main bedroom, office) so that the disruption was kept to a minimum. The outside job was also done quickly and efficiently, by polite and agreeable painters. We would certainly recommend them

We read many of the reviews for McLeod's painting and they all very good. We had a figure in mind for what a full internal repaint (two coats) of our three-bedroom apartment (160sq m) would cost and the quote came in at the top end of the scale which we accepted. From then on it was so organised, we were given a start and finish date which worked in well with our plans. Everything was explained to us and what was our responsibility and what was theirs. The painters arrived on time every day and worked an eight-hour day, usually two painters, but some days three. The painters were very tidy and at the end of each day rubbish was cleaned up and removed and we were still able to enjoy the use of our home. Overall, an excellent job and we are very happy with the result.
