What else can I say when there are already 40 reviews with 5* ratings!? We were originally referred to James when looking into installing new windows; James was referred for the painting aspect. We decided against new windows, but asked James to quote for repainting the exterior of our house (which was long overdue), including stripping the lead paint. James did exactly what he said he would - turned up on time and provided a quote back to us. He was patient and happy to work with us with different options. The price was similar to another contractor we obtained. But we ended up engaging Bartons because we had a good feeling about James and are delighted that we did. James & Chad turned up 7:00AM prompt every day over a 6 week duration and communicating with them was easy. Their work ethic, quality, politeness, and professionalism is second to none! A real friendly team with a great sense of humour as well. We had other works going on at our place and James was happy to provide additional advice, unrelated to the job. Overall, we couldn't be happier with the job they did and wouldn't even contemplate using anyone else in the future. We would have no hesitation in recommending them.
We had James and the team paint our Queenslander home in Bardon recently. The house was in need of a lot of prep - sanding, filling, and we were going for a complete colour change. James provided great advice on colours, and we couldn’t be more delighted with how it’s turned out. It feels like we have a new house! We feel proud coming home to it every day. The finishes, attention to detail and professionalism are all excellent. Special mention to Chad and Jake who were on site daily, and were polite, courteous, tidy and did a fantastic job. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!
James did an outstanding job, colour matching for us in a room which didn't need all walls painted. Not easy to do! I can't see where the new starts and joins the old! Highly professional, polite and doesn't waste time. Will most definitely be calling on him in the future
