Remedial Building Services.

Remedial were selected to undertake the massive restructure of our property at Shore apartments, and I cannot speak highly enough of the friendly workers and the amazing results they have achieved. They had to completely redo our terraces from the ground up due to leakage issues, which included waterproofing, retiling and putting in new doors and fencing and I am extremely happy with the results. It’s like a brand new terrace and looks fantastic. I would personally like to thank the management team of Chris and Adam who promptly responded to my enquires and were approachable and friendly throughout, as well as all the workers who worked hard to systematically and professionally produce this amazing result. I would highly recommend this company!

Unprofessional behaviour, absolute lack of care, courtesy or concern for residents, and very poor communication skills. Just a few of many incidents - While working on my building their negligence caused the balcony above to leak a huge amount of water into my ceiling, leading to a ceiling collapse and a flooding of my unit. - When they replaced the glass doors of my unit, they left the place in a complete mess - everything was covered in a thick layer of dust including my bed, and they had ripped the curtains down. To this day I am still living without curtains. No communication about any of this, I only found out about the damage and mess by coming home after being away for a while, no text, no email, nothing. My air purity meter was showing PM2.5 particle levels of over 200 in the entire apartment, which is extremely unsafe and unhealthy. - When trying to organise to get the ceiling repaired, the site manager Chris refused to answer simple questions I had about how much space they needed, which items of furniture needed to be moved, etc. He then had an attitude at me, blaming me for not having the apartment ready for repairs which was very unprofessional and rude, given that I had been trying to get answers about what preparation needed to be done for weeks and he refused to answer. It's not that he would just miss the texts either, he would often just straight up deflect my questions and make irrelevant statements. I counted, for one question, I had to ask 8 times over text over the span of a few weeks before he finally gave me an answer. Expecting people to do things for you, but being extremely vague and leaving details out, refusing to answer questions and all round making things way more difficult than it needed to be. Very unprofessional and lacking basic communication skills. This isn't even an exhaustive list there are many more greivances I have about their negligence, lack of professionalism and poor communication that I've experienced during their time working on my building.
