Mercer's Precision Painting

Stan quoted us for a roof repaint two years ago, roof looked good but leaks were detected during the storm season resulting in more expense from an independent pointer. Disappointed in his professional judgements re the state of our roof. Transparency lacking in this regard. To his credit, he returned to repaint affected areas internally and externally due to damage caused by leaking roof. Large Driveway repainted with silicone repairs of cracks, looking good initially however two years later, paint has faded to the point where it requires a repaint. Not happy at all ! The big issue is our pool….. renovated by Stanton assuring us that the epoxy paint used, would stand the test of time. Exisiting skirt tiles were painted over - (when questioned about durability of paint on tiles, he assured us it was fine but he made us sign a legally useless waiver to exempt him from liability if it failed.) Massive failure 12 months later…..Paint flaked and cracked, peeling off in sheets, when questioned he refused to accept liability. He completely disregarded and ignored legal letters from our solicitor, refused to negotiate and treated it as a joke. As a consequence the cost for repair has escalated to an additional $4000 two years later after the initial paint. I would not recommend, nor trust his judgement and or his advice regarding any painting projects. A considerable amount of money changed hands without any recourse from Precision Painters aka Stanton Mercer. Lennox Head/Ballina residents beware of who you contact in regard to any painting projects. If it were possible to rate 0 stars, we would, but that option is not available.
