Staff are incompetent. Wasted a 90 minute round trip here to get some quality paint for the ceiling of my home theatre. I asked for it to be tinted black, stressed that I wanted it BLACK, and paid for a can of paint which, funnily enough, had the word "black" written on it. I stupidly assumed the paint inside would be... you know... black, but when I got home and opened the can, the paint is grey, and not what I asked for. Colours are a concept generally taught at Pre-primary school age, and the sales person was definitely older than 5, so I'm not sure how this confusion between "black" and "grey" happened. Either way, I'm not going to be back.
Very disappointing and such a waste. The colours we chose from the swatches in store were nothing like the colours in the sample pots we were given. Didn’t think about it at the time but this was also the first time I had bought paint and not been shown the colours inside the tins. Now I know why. Expected much more from a specialist store. I’m back to the big hardware store where they show you what you’re getting and where they tend to be a better match.
