UNSATISFIED SERVICES and UNCOMPLETED WORKS while requested FULL PAYMENTS in advance. Dylan sent me 2 invoices for doing work to my 3 properties, mainly gutter cleaning, a medium tree cut, tree trimming and stumps surgery. INV-269 is $1,140 for 2 properties and INV-272 is $361 for 1 property, in total of $1,501. Dylan started work on 4 February, he said his leave vacuum was out of order so he had to clean the roof gutter by hand. After gutter cleaning for 2 properties, he asked to pay $500 which is part of INV-269, I did transfer to his bank account on the day. However some part of gutters were not cleaned properly. Few days later Dylan came back on 11 February to cut a medium tree at front yard, the tree fell unexpectedly to the wrong direction backward to the house luckily cause just minor scratches. His chainsaw ran out of petrol so I had to go to petrol station to buy 5 litre container with petrol and oil mix ($37 as a gift) for him to continue his work. Before Dylan left the day with big debris of cut tree and branches at driveway in front of property, he asked me to pay upfront the balance of INV-269 and whole INV-272 which he has not set foot thee yet. I was a bit hesitate to agree to pay all upfront in advance, Dylan said I should trust him, the invoices are the evidence that I could take him to court if he didn’t complete the works stated in the invoices, therefore I agreed and transferred to his account on that night. 3 days later Dylan sent text messages saying that he would get back to me later with definite time to continue his work. On 19 February, 5 days after I sent Dylan couple of reminders, he sent me message saying he had had teeth infection and would get back to on that night about his schedule. Another 5 days after I sent Dylan a few reminders again, he sent me message saying he had just been released from hospital 2 days ago and he didn’t appreciate my reminder and he would get back to me maximum 2 weeks later… but 4 weeks later, I still hadn’t heard from Dylan so I sent a reminder on 24 March, he sent back messages saying that he couldn’t meet the works that he invoiced. I asked what his proposal was, he proposed to stop working further, only to pick up the debris in the driveway and refund only $150. I emailed Dylan with calculation based on INV-269 $1,140 of his work completed 2 sets of gutters cleaned and 1 medium tree dropped which was not completed is $800, so he should refund $340 for this invoice, and he must refund the whole amount $360 of INV-272 as he has not set foot to this property to start any work at all. So the total refund should be $700. Dylan refused to refund $700 so I am considering to seek for legal help on this matter as he advised me to do so at the time he asked me to pay all balance upfront in advance. Dylan challenged me to go toward legal resolution direction. The large debris has been left deliberately in the driveway and front yard for 11 weeks long so far… causing living inconvenient and uncomfortable to my family. I would claim compensation for this as well.

Dillian was quick to respond to a quote request for gutters, windows and driveway clean. Work completed as quoted plus a couple of bonus jobs, including roof tile repair and garage door clean. Highly recommend and have rebooked for 6 months time. Before and after photos as shown.
