We are very happy with the landscaping provided by Cain. He regularly checked in and made great suggestions for plants and placement of feature rocks. He also constructed the hard stand for our motor home. He set up the reticulation and checked regularly that it was working and applied for the watering allowance on our behalf. He has a fabulous work ethic and we highly recommend his landscaping service.

We had Cain from Natures Lane come and do an amazing job on our backyard in Cowaramup. Nothing was too hard for him and his team. They went above and beyond to give us more than what we asked for. We couldn’t be happier with the professionalism and end result with our new lawn, edging and retic to all fruit trees and grassed areas. Thanks Cain !!! 6 stars if I could 👍 Highly recommend!

We had Cain from Nature’s Lane take care of the landscaping for our new build in Busselton, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. He responded quickly with a quote and worked closely with us to create a design that suited our vision. As our ideas evolved throughout the process, Cain was incredibly flexible and accommodating—nothing was ever too much trouble. The quality of his work is outstanding, and the finished product speaks for itself. On top of that, he’s down-to-earth, approachable, and easy to work with. We highly recommend Cain and Nature’s Lane!

Landscaping costs & guides

Frequently asked questions

How much do landscapers typically charge?
Costs vary widely depending on job type and complexity — a tidy-up is typically much less than a full makeover or structural retaining wall. Materials, labour hours, site access and any required design or engineering work usually drive the price. This page shows live pricing to help you compare current rates.
Do landscapers charge call-out fees?
Most landscapers charge a call-out fee to attend and assess the job, and this is usually separate from labour and materials. Hourly labour rates and after-hours or weekend attendance are often charged at higher rates. It’s worth confirming any minimum fees and what the call-out covers when requesting quotes.
When do landscapers need a licence in Australia?
Landscapers typically need a contractor licence or builder registration when work involves structural or building elements such as engineered retaining walls, footings or major excavation. Providers who undertake structural work will usually display a valid state contractor licence or builder registration, while smaller softscape-only jobs often do not require that registration. Check that any landscaper doing structural work holds the appropriate licence or registration.
