From our very first meeting with Sam we knew we wanted him to design our garden, the designs and ideas he had were fabulous and unique, it’s been amazing watching it all come together, we are very happy with the end result, our garden looks beautiful! The whole process has been smooth and I especially want to say a huge thank you to his team, they are polite, hard working and a pleasure always when on site! We can highly recommend Sam and his team!

A huge thanks to Sam and his team for producing the most amazing backyard for us to enjoy. We just love it and spend so much time relaxing in our beautiful new space. Everything from design to construction was completed to the highest of standards. Sam’s knowledge of design, along with his vision, is impeccable. He suggested the perfect position for our sauna overlooking the pool and integrated it into the garden in a very natural way. All members of the De Vries Design team were wonderful to work with and a pleasure to be around. We cannot speak highly enough of every single person who worked on our job and would use DVD again in a heartbeat.

Sam completely transformed our backyard to a level we didn't know was possible. He had a vision - could show us that vision with his fly through design and then most importantly could deliver on that vision. The best part of using Sam wasn't just his exceptional landscape design skills - his ability to project manage (with awesome people/ crews) was a real highlight. We just LOVE it! Thanks Sam!

During our new build, we met with Sam from Devries Designs. We wanted someone that could create our own beautiful space that would finish off and compliment our new home. After meeting Sam and viewing his designs, we knew we had met our team. From start to finish, the Devries team were professional, high quality and just really great people. The best part was, seeing our dream garden become a reality!! We love it and would highly recommend Devries Designs.

We engaged with Sam and other landscape architects for a design for our space. Sam was by far the easiest to deal with, and solution-driven in his approach. He met with us and listened to what our ideas were and worked with us to produce the outcomes we wanted. The process was collaborative, and there was no ego involved when we wanted to include our personal touches. His designs were stunning. Beautiful fly-throughs left us with a clear idea about where we were heading. As we transitioned to construction, Sam took full accountability of the result. Insisting on making our life as easy as possible. His internal work force and contractors were easy to deal with and communited very well throughout. The quality of the end product exceeded our expectations. We had a desire to have an internal/external connection with our house, that utilised the small backyard to its full potential. Not only was this delivered, but the space is so well designed that it feels much bigger than its size. To incorporate, pool, decking, planting, alfresco, outdoor kitchen in a size that is rougly 10x8m2, and have it function well, has blown us away. The quality of the workmanship is first class, and we now have a space that feels like it's been plucked from a mediteranean resort. DeVries design nailed the brief, made our life easy, and exceeded our expectations in every way.
