Formed Landscapes

Working with Formed Landscapes was a dream. From the initial contact via phone with Michael to the first meeting onsite when we had a building site and plans for the general ideas for the garden we had a good feel from the outset. Michael was able to take our initial plans and adapt these taking into consideration our sloping block. The result is an indigenous native garden we are thrilled with together with wicking beds for veggies and an orchard area. We had some construction challenges that meant the garden had to be built in two stages which Michael and his team took in their stride. We then threw in a challenge that wasn’t part of the original brief to form some curved steel edging around multi level decks which the guys took on board and came up with a wonderful solution. To say we are thrilled with the outcome is an understatement. The team who worked on the project led by Davo were sensational, they kept us informed and worked within our timelines. We have no hesitation in recommending them.

Michael and his team recently completed a large and complex 12-month project at our farm on the Mornington Peninsula. Michael is easy to deal with, a good listener, and his team does first-class work. We have no hesitation recommending Formed Landscapes to any potential clients.

We had a wonderful experience with Michael and his team when they erected a large pergola at our property recently. It was a very professional installation, on time and within the budget. We engaged Michael at Formed to do our native coastal garden. His values, level of care, and commitment to quality were exceptional and not often found in some trades today. He offered to store some totem posts for our design and met us on-site with the landscape designer and provided valuable input into the design, construction and cost, all with no expectation of winning our work. Mike was proactive with his communication, and throughout our project, nothing was ever a problem for Mike or his entire team. The quality of their work was exceptional, and their ability to fabricate and adapt the design onsite as needed provided us with a fantastic landscape garden that we thoroughly enjoy every day. I could not speak highly enough of Mike and the Formed team and would gladly recommend them to anyone.

Michael and his crew were, again, fantastic to deal with. This was the 3rd time we used Formed Landscapes for our backyard. Their professionalism, ease of interaction, diligence, prompt work and retention to timelines was comforting and stress free. Cannot recommend highly enough.

It was a pleasure working with Michael and the Formed team on a complete landscaping rebuild at our home at Martha Cove. It was a big job - more than 12 months on and off - with Formed working carefully around but in cooperation with our builder and the pool company. The Formed team showed incredible attention to detail and real pride of workmanship on a major crazy paving project, together with the installation of lots of plantings, custom architectural features, lighting, a new lawn, and a large feature tree shipped all the way from Byron Bay. And a new driveway in a colour and finish which Michael suggested, improving on the work of the landscape architect. And to make the experience even better they were all lovely blokes. Even our neighbours, who had to put up with months of concrete and stone cutting commented on what a lovely team they were.
