We would never have thought of the beautiful curved deck and daybed, but they take the space to another level. The brick pavers are striking as well as practical. And we now have a place for outdoor cooking (with a flat rock as a useful surface for baking trays etc) and a large deck that will accommodate a comfortable outdoor setting. The plantings Marcus recommended are in line with what we wanted: low-maintenance but with a mix of foliage textures and some native plants. Marcus went the extra mile by providing information sheets for each plant specifying their care needs. We love our new backyard and unhesitatingly recommend Ballard Landscape Design.

We have a large bush property set in 10 acres of native trees, and didn't even know where to start when it came to planning a garden amidst the forest. Marcus has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to landscape design: planning, levels, plants, trees, site cuts, materials, sectioning off areas... you name it, he knows it! He made the whole process very easy for us with frequent meetings, very clear concept sketches and finishing with a fantastic full design that we can use to follow ourselves or pass on to a landscaper to complete the work. Marcus has created a wonderful, social vibe for our property, with clear and flowing areas for gardens, kids, fire pit, walkways, steps and driveway. We are delighted with the end result and can't wait to bring his vision for our garden to life. Highly recommend Marcus for your landscaping project!
