Peers and team were really easy to work with and did an excellent job. Our property looks much more modern after the landscaping work. They gave a great quote for our front and backyard work and were quick to respond to messages throughout the job. They were also flexible with a few of my last minute requests and continued giving advice even after the job was complete. Definitely recommend! 👍👍

Peers has been maintaining the common garden for the seven houses in our group for the last three years. This comprises mainly of hedging and topiary work and his skills in this field are exemplary. Clean-up afterwards is spot on, and I could not recommend him any higher. Peers is a genuine friendly guy who gives it 100%.

Peers and his team did an excellent job for my big yard. Nowadays it's not easy to find a reliable gardener so I would highly recommend their team to anyone who is looking for a professional gardener with a great communication, excellent custom services and a reasonable price. I will continue to ask their team for monthly maintenance as well.

Landscaping costs & guides

Frequently asked questions

How much do landscapers typically charge?
Costs vary widely depending on job type and complexity — a tidy-up is typically much less than a full makeover or structural retaining wall. Materials, labour hours, site access and any required design or engineering work usually drive the price. This page shows live pricing to help you compare current rates.
Do landscapers charge call-out fees?
Most landscapers charge a call-out fee to attend and assess the job, and this is usually separate from labour and materials. Hourly labour rates and after-hours or weekend attendance are often charged at higher rates. It’s worth confirming any minimum fees and what the call-out covers when requesting quotes.
When do landscapers need a licence in Australia?
Landscapers typically need a contractor licence or builder registration when work involves structural or building elements such as engineered retaining walls, footings or major excavation. Providers who undertake structural work will usually display a valid state contractor licence or builder registration, while smaller softscape-only jobs often do not require that registration. Check that any landscaper doing structural work holds the appropriate licence or registration.
