I had Ant & the Grow Resilience Team design & plant a screening on our property before Christmas and I'm super happy with the result! You couldn't see any of them above the tree guards when planted. Good quality trees & shrubs all thriving except one. Will definitely use these guys again for our next project 🙌

Ant and Steve were very friendly, helpful and supportive through out the renovations I have completed both front and back yards. They were very informative about which vegetables and herbs to plant and what ones didn’t need as much watering. They even fitted and helped with irrigation for the front yard makes it so much easier for me . There continue support is very encouraging and a sign of relief especially when you’re not a Gardner . Highly recommend these guys

Ant's team from Grow Resilience did a great job improving my gardens with new concrete/stone edging, stone retaining wall, raised beds, irrigation, espalia, perennial planting, and a general clean-up. They went out of their way to offer ideas, ask questions, and respond to my queries promptly, and I'm very happy with the final product.

Very happy customer! It has been nearly 12 months since Ant and James designed and created my ‘front yard veggie garden’ and it is still growing strong and has become a productive little food sanctuary. I was a complete novice and definitely didn’t have a green thumb when I started this journey! I felt comfortable with the process and appreciated all the knowledge they shared. I was given clear ideas about what I could get with my budget. I loved consuming (and sharing) my produce. The soil quality they created was amazing and I had abundance in zucchini’s, pumpkins and cucumbers. I made enough basil pesto to feed an army. We had zucchini bread coming out our ears and pumpkin and date muffins in the freezer that took us months to work our way through. I’m ready to start planning for my winter crop! The hardest part is always starting, and is often what prevents people from making progress. Ant and James took the burden of this out of my hands and I was able to come in when the fun began! Highly recommend!

Landscaping costs & guides

Frequently asked questions

How much do landscapers typically charge?
Costs vary widely depending on job type and complexity — a tidy-up is typically much less than a full makeover or structural retaining wall. Materials, labour hours, site access and any required design or engineering work usually drive the price. This page shows live pricing to help you compare current rates.
Do landscapers charge call-out fees?
Most landscapers charge a call-out fee to attend and assess the job, and this is usually separate from labour and materials. Hourly labour rates and after-hours or weekend attendance are often charged at higher rates. It’s worth confirming any minimum fees and what the call-out covers when requesting quotes.
When do landscapers need a licence in Australia?
Landscapers typically need a contractor licence or builder registration when work involves structural or building elements such as engineered retaining walls, footings or major excavation. Providers who undertake structural work will usually display a valid state contractor licence or builder registration, while smaller softscape-only jobs often do not require that registration. Check that any landscaper doing structural work holds the appropriate licence or registration.
