I had a complex serious drainage issue on my site causing water to pour into my split level house every time it rained. I had several companies come and quote me options that were half fixes and it wasn't until Active Industries came that I had a proper solution. Colin did an exceptional job to fix this, talking me through the process before and during the works. 12 months later and with significant rain events there has not been a drop of water come into our house. A fantastic job on a difficult site. Living on a bush property & suddenly finding we needed a council compliant pool fence was a shock considering the council rules are a minefield. Colin was very experienced in this area and made our compliance easy. It was a difficult job on mostly solid, sloping sandstone but he sourced the best type of fencing for the site, installed it quickly, cleaned up everything & left us with a great addition to our home. We would highly recommend Colin’s company. From speaking with him, he has often taken on jobs that many said were too hard, thanks for a great job.

Colin helped us with concreting driveway and paths on our sloped site, as well as pool fencing. He had the challenging job of doing the job as our pool was going in... And we were so blessed to have Colin on site. We ended up paying Colin extra to fix up the shonky retaining walls that the pool builder arranged for the pool surrounds. He became our extra pair of trusted eyes. He was thoughtful and gave excellent advice from his extensive experience. He is meticulous with detail and exceptionally clean and tidy, not to mention a true gentleman. No hesitation recommending him!

We hired Colin to complete the landscaping work for our knock-down/rebuild project and couldn't be happier with the results. Our scope of work included a patio, new driveway, retaining walls, soft landscaping, exterior lighting, pool filter, fencing and rendered block walling. With access to a wide range of his own heavy machinery and equipment, Colin was able deliver the majority of this work himself and brought in trusted specialist trades to complete the rest. Colin is a good communicator, has a great attention to detail and is very particular about the quality of the construction 'beneath the surface', e.g. drainage, foundations, build materials, etc. I'd happily recommend Colin to anyone considering a project such as ours.
