David's team have trimmed my trees and hedges twice recently, and I am very happy with the result. They give good advice, do a great job, and take care tidying up.

I could not rate David and his team more highly. They did a first rate job in both my backyard and front yard. Both look fantastic and I could not be happier. David is a genuinely nice guy and very easy to relate and talk to. David’s price was very reasonable for all the work he did and I will definitely be using his services again soon. Highly recommended.

I was a bit apprehensive about hiring a landscaper after hearing a few horror stories, especially picking someone I’d found online—but I’m so glad I went with Absolute Tree and Garden. David was extremely responsive and even shuffled his schedule to squeeze my job in earlier than expected. The team that came out were friendly, efficient, and thorough—exactly what you’d hope for. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Absolute Tree and Garden to anyone.

David and the whole crew at Absolute Tree and Garden Services are fantastic. The work is always done very professionally and safely. The crew are very friendly and respectful. I have used them for many years across multiple properties and the service is always the same - consistently good. I like that they will push back if the request is not going to give you the best result which is great. They turn up on time!! Their rates are very reasonable as well. I fully recommend Absolute Tree and Garden Services! Stuart

Had Absolute Tree and Garden Services remove some branches from 3 large trees (required climbing, cutting then lowering the branches carefully) - David and his team were fantastic. They were on time, offered great advice, did the work quickly and efficiently and then cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend them!

Frequently asked questions

How much do landscapers typically charge?
Costs vary widely depending on job type and complexity — a tidy-up is typically much less than a full makeover or structural retaining wall. Materials, labour hours, site access and any required design or engineering work usually drive the price. This page shows live pricing to help you compare current rates.
Do landscapers charge call-out fees?
Most landscapers charge a call-out fee to attend and assess the job, and this is usually separate from labour and materials. Hourly labour rates and after-hours or weekend attendance are often charged at higher rates. It’s worth confirming any minimum fees and what the call-out covers when requesting quotes.
When do landscapers need a licence in Australia?
Landscapers typically need a contractor licence or builder registration when work involves structural or building elements such as engineered retaining walls, footings or major excavation. Providers who undertake structural work will usually display a valid state contractor licence or builder registration, while smaller softscape-only jobs often do not require that registration. Check that any landscaper doing structural work holds the appropriate licence or registration.
