Melville Retic- repairs, maintenance, problem solving

BE WARNED, this guy has got zero moral compass. None at all. After paying him $1030 2.5 weeks ago to check my entire retic and make sure everything works and to make sure that all my plants/grass are being watered I messaged him to please come check the one retic on my front lawn which is not working too well from when he finished the initial work. He fixed it, and told me he would check everywhere again as there was also a tiny one i found at the back that had no sprinkler head, He also found some cut pipe that he proudly told me he had fixed. He then presented me with a bill of $315.00. I would have been quite happy to pay for the parts used, but not a call out fee of $160, and for time used, another $133.00. He told me that I did not use the word Warranty when i asked him to come back despite him telling me i should let him know if there was anything i find and he wouldcome back. When i queried his bill and told him this was very unfair, he threatened to rip up the work he had done. Also Watch out for his arrival time and departure time on your invoice which i later noticed was incorrect. Due to the fact that I was on my own as a woman and his voice started to get loud and aggressive and i had to tell him to talk normally, I paid him after he gave me a $60 discount so that i could get rid of him. Never again, very unusual character.

Paul was awesome. He showed up on time, was lovely to deal with, and sorted out our ongoing reticulation issues. I highly recommend this business. All companies I've researched have a base call out fee, which you're aware of before you book. Paul is no different. And I found his prices very competitive.

Paul came out at a moment's notice (Day after Ringing) and quickly fixed my retic problems. All ready for Summer 👍 Dropped a star as he forgot to turn up at the appointed time. Pricing - Replace broken verge sprinkler, install (2nd) new sprinkler on verge, replace broken solenoid and repair leak in PVC pipe. $160 Call out + $160 hr x 2 + $100 consumables.

Paul replaced the master solenoid on my retic system 18 months ago. He was efficient and fitted everything back into place and left if tidy, so I had no hesitation in using him when the next problem arose. Another repeat of efficiency and tidiness and all working perfectly again. It is great to find a tradesman who takes pride in his work and tidies up after the job.

We had Paul out a year ago to help get our system working properly after we moved in, after recently building a wall out the front Paul took his time to guide me through the process of what we need to do next to get the whole system connected again, 10/10

I recently contacted Paul from Melville Retic-repairs when I had a problem with one of my sprinklers. I contacted two other Companies but they were not able to assist me for 3 or 4 weeks. Paul was able to get to my home within a week. He did a great job and explained everything that he did to fix the sprinkler. I would use him again should I have any further Retic problems.
