Not all oven cleaners are the same. I found that out the hard way!! I recently had my two built-in ovens cleaned by another company, and while I thought the job was only average, it was worse than that. My trays and wire racks were left scratched and the coating is now peeling off - they’re completely ruined and will need to be replaced. It’s going to cost a lot of money to replace. Wanting to understand what a proper clean should look like, I contacted Alex from Stubborn Oven. From the very first call back (within minutes of leaving a voicemail!), it was clear he really knows his stuff. He patiently explained what should be included in a thorough oven clean and confirmed my suspicions that what I’d received wasn’t up to scratch. When Alex came out, the difference was night and day. He: • Removed the back plate and cleaned behind it, including the metal fan (the other cleaners only attempted to clean part of the fan without removing the back plate). • Cleaned the ceiling of the oven (which the other cleaners hadn’t even attempted). Beyond his skill, Alex is a genuinely nice guy and is professional and reliable. After seeing the quality of his work, I’ll never use anyone else. If you want your oven *properly* cleaned by someone who does job right, don’t waste your time with anyone else, book Alex at Stubborn Oven.
