I contacted my real estate agent on Thursday, 29 January 2026, to submit a maintenance request for my Crimsafe security door. They provided me with the reference number for Davis Handyman & Maintenance, so I reached out to them directly and explained how urgent the situation was. Lance, the locksmith, told me they were fully booked for the week and could only fit the job in the following week. However, he could clearly hear the concern in my voice about my family’s safety, and he went out of his way to make space for us the very next day. Within ten minutes, his wife Emma sent a text confirming the appointment. Not only did they prioritise us, but Lance even travelled all the way from the Gold Coast to Ipswich to get the job done. What a legend. Our deepest thanks to Lance, Emma, and their company for providing outstanding customer service and fixing our security door. Their professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help truly made a difference.

Lance did a great job on all the handyman tasks we had for him, including painting a large pergola, fixing the door frames in the shed and painting and sanding the back fence rails and lopping back an overgrown tree. He gave us a discount on the shed because it did not take him as long as he thought and didn't need to replace all the wood. We appreciate his fair pricing, work ethic and friendly service. Will definitely use him in the future.
