Used Glass HQ for a recent kitchen reno, glass splash back. The boys came out within a day of calling, measured up and quoted same day. Glass splash back was delivered and installed within a week of quote approval. Measurements are spot on, with all GPO in the correct spot. Craig and Lindsay couldn't be more helpful with a tight turn around. Price was very reasonable as well. Highly recommend Glass GQ.

Lindsay and the crew at Glass HQ were fantastic to deal with. After a couple of broken windows, the team were at my house the very next morning to have them replaced. In comparison to another glazier that quoted me, their prices were very fair and reasonable. We were most pleased with the service and it was even better that we could support a small family owned local business. 5 stars!

Frequently asked questions

How much do glaziers typically charge?
Glazing costs vary a lot depending on the job type, glass specification, access and the number of panes involved. Simple repairs are typically much less than supply-and-fit work for large or safety-compliant panels. This page shows live pricing for your area to help you compare likely costs.
Do glaziers charge call-out fees?
Call-out fees are common and many glaziers also charge an hourly labour rate, with materials billed separately. After-hours or emergency attendance usually attracts a higher multiplier. Always confirm call-out and after-hours terms when getting quotes.
Do glaziers need a licence in Australia?
Yes. Glaziers are required to hold a contractor or glazing licence in each Australian state and territory. In NSW, licences are managed by NSW Fair Trading (Building Commission NSW). You should ask to see a licence number and appropriate insurance details before hiring.
How do I get a quote from Glass HQ?
Glass HQ lists phone, email, or through their website on this profile, so you can contact them directly for pricing and availability. Share a short scope and photos to get a faster quote.
