I had an outstanding experience with Far North Glass! From start to finish, their service was exceptional. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient. I had a custom glass installation project, and they took the time to listen to my needs, offer expert advice, and provide a flawless solution. The quality of the glass was top-notch, and the installation was completed ahead of schedule. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Frequently asked questions

How much do glaziers typically charge?

Glazing costs vary a lot depending on the job type, glass specification, access and the number of panes involved. Simple repairs are typically much less than supply-and-fit work for large or safety-compliant panels. This page shows live pricing for your area to help you compare likely costs.

Do glaziers charge call-out fees?

Call-out fees are common and many glaziers also charge an hourly labour rate, with materials billed separately. After-hours or emergency attendance usually attracts a higher multiplier. Always confirm call-out and after-hours terms when getting quotes.

Do glaziers need a licence in Australia?

Yes. Glaziers are required to hold a contractor or glazing licence in each Australian state and territory. In NSW, licences are managed by NSW Fair Trading (Building Commission NSW). You should ask to see a licence number and appropriate insurance details before hiring.
