Brilliant service from Milligans. Seamless from first phone call to installation. We have had this company install three built in wardrobes in two of our investment properties recently. Also had them install a new security door on the balcony of one of the properties. Brilliant tradies, awesome support staff…. A fantastic experience. Highly recommend them and will be using them again should the need arise. Thanks to all involved, especially Nathan.

Called in for a minor glass replacement. Greeted by a smiling receptionist, who provided expert advice. Picked up replacement, price was very reasonable.

Frequently asked questions

How much do glaziers typically charge?

Glazing costs vary a lot depending on the job type, glass specification, access and the number of panes involved. Simple repairs are typically much less than supply-and-fit work for large or safety-compliant panels. This page shows live pricing for your area to help you compare likely costs.

Do glaziers charge call-out fees?

Call-out fees are common and many glaziers also charge an hourly labour rate, with materials billed separately. After-hours or emergency attendance usually attracts a higher multiplier. Always confirm call-out and after-hours terms when getting quotes.

Do glaziers need a licence in Australia?

Yes. Glaziers are required to hold a contractor or glazing licence in each Australian state and territory. In NSW, licences are managed by NSW Fair Trading (Building Commission NSW). You should ask to see a licence number and appropriate insurance details before hiring.
