Adelaide Hills Vegie Gardens

We purchased 6 veggie beds for our property in Middleton. We made the decision to go with veggie beds due to a constant battle with clay soil, and limitless little critters (foxes, possums, rabbits, native rats, kangaroos etc). The veggie beds look great, the service to install was excellent and we have already had success with produce. Although we had to find a way to peacock proof the beds early in the season. We have enjoyed them so much we purchased two more for our property closer to the city. We are still learning about what works, what doesn’t and spacing. We find the growing guides very helpful as well.

Adelaide Hills Vegie Gardens listened to us, designed a solution that worked for us, and knocked it out in about a month from initial call to completion, despite some hot days in the open sun. We wanted something that would keep out pests because our neighbourhood has critters that eat all of our fruits and veggies before they are even ripe. It was a big job, but it was done in a few days and a month later our veggies are growing out of control. We have wicking beds that keep our plants hydrated, drainage, and with some shadecloth I added and additional watering to mitigate the summer heat, our veggies are thriving. We are thrilled with the result and our experience.

I recommend AHVG, Claire was easy to work with to get the right products for my garden. I bought 6 foodcubes, trellises, netting, plus soil and delivery. On their advice got the flexi frames for netting to keep the birds and rabbits away! I have found these very easy to use and configure for three joined food cubes - thank you for the suggestion! Now to wait for everything to grow.

We purchased 6 custom built wicking beds from the team at Adelaide Hills Veggie Gardens. They came out to our house & measured the area, gave us a quote, then returned and installed them. The whole process was easy & their communication was great. We are very happy with the beds, and they are working very well. We love them
