Saw a few Facebook posts about Josh and his hedging work so we decided to give him a go. After many years of different businesses never doing them right. Josh has done it first go, they look the best they have done in years. 50m worth in 4 hours too. Great prices as well. So tick tick tick from us. He is knowledgeable about the different hedges we have and what should be done to keep them looking fabulous. See you in August for their next cut. Love Love supporting local businesses.

I highly recommend Josh, he did a fantastic job for us and we will definitely use his services again! Our hedges had gotten out of control with all the recent rain and heat and what he was able to achieve in a couple of hours I couldn’t in a whole weekend nor would it be even close to the standard of his work.

Frequently asked questions

How much do gardeners typically charge?
Gardening costs vary depending on the job type, the size of the area and whether plants or materials are supplied. Regular maintenance visits are generally less expensive per visit than one-off tidy-ups or planting work, and after-hours or urgent jobs usually attract higher rates. The live pricing shown on this page reflects current call-out and labour rates for your area.
Do gardeners charge call-out fees?
Many gardeners charge a call-out fee to attend your property, which is typically separate from hourly labour and materials. For smaller jobs this fee is often factored into a minimum charge, and after-hours attendance is commonly billed at a higher rate.
What qualifications should I look for in a gardener?
Gardeners don't usually require a government-issued licence in Australia. Instead, look for industry memberships or recognised credentials from bodies such as Greenlife Industry Australia, the Australian Institute of Horticulture, Hort Innovation, and state landscaping associations like QALI, LIAV, LIAWA and LASA, which indicate industry training or professional affiliation.
