I recently engaged Jake at 1st Choice Property Maintenance to replace a 20 metre 6ft timber dividing fence and I simply cannot recommend Jake highly enough. Throughout the entire process - from initial inspection to quote to completion of the work - Jake was just excellent and made an otherwise difficult process much easier. Jake was also able to do the work quite urgently, at no extra cost, which was enormously appreciated. Jake also does all the work himself so you know who you are dealing with from start to finish which is also positive. The finished fence looks excellent and the cost was reasonable and competitive. If you've ever dealt with Cairns tradies, you know the drill — vague quotes, no-shows, and a mess left behind. These guys are the complete opposite. I had them install a new double gate at my property, which involved digging out a garden bed, levelling the ground, removing the old panel and single gate, and fabricating and hanging a new double gate. Not a small job. They turned up when they said they would. Finished when they said they would. And cleaned up completely before they left. When's the last time you could say that about a tradie up here? Professional, easy to deal with, and the work looks great. I've already got them booked to come back for a boundary fence. Can't recommend them highly enough.
