Ruby and Steve were absolutely amazing when I asked them if they could assist me with sourcing some indoor and outdoor plants for my new home. Ruby took the time to understand what areas I wished to fill, what type of plants and pots I liked, and thereafter sourced them from their specialised suppliers. Once the plants & pots had been delivered, the team carefully had them potted, nurtured and then positioned in the respective areas. Ruby's team continues to make regular visits to check up on how the plants are doing (so it's not just a set and forget process, which generally happens with other outfits). The genuine care and attention to detail that Farr Landscapes bring, coupled with their deep horticultural knowledge, completely set them apart from anyone else I have ever used. Steve and Ruby have completely transformed our garden, both the front and back areas. They have stayed within the heritage and scale of the property and it's made a huge difference. What I like about their approach is the way they take the time to absorb the environment and present well curated options, definitely a team effort. We are loving the new space and it's so rewarding to see the plants grow and the garden take shape. All of the logistics of the project have been taken care of; irrigation, sourcing of beautiful pots, serious prep-ing of soil, etc, we've left this in their very capable hands. There are a couple of stand-outs though, like the glossy-leafed established lime tree in a big pot inside the pool, and some gorgeous rambling cottage plants that complement the structured hedges, which I love. And I have to finish this post with a shout-out to their lovely team, Isaac and Pablo. What a great team they all make.

I first met Steve in the 80’s when he designed my mother’s garden in Vaucluse. Steve and his team designed my Maroubra garden and have transformed it into various sytles throughout the years. My garden is vibrant and exotic and full of life. I can’t recommend Farr Landscapes more highly!
