Act House & Landscaping Maintenance

10/10 I would recommend to family and friends! Abs and his team are highly professional, very thorough and most importantly went above and beyond what we expected. A great outcome for our yard. We used Abs for a significantly large landscaping job of 250sq metres to transform a concrete and over vegetated area (with 19 tonnes of waste removed) into a great backyard for the kids. There was significant excavation work, soil and turf installation. Additional work included an uplift of the front of the house gardens, two side areas being transformed and a great tidy up. Highlights of his work included 1: He came out and provided an accurate and reasonable quote (within 12 hours of contacting him) 2: He provided cost effective options and solutions, was very practical, and was flexible in adjusting to extra work as the project progressed. 3: He did a large amount of extra work (nearly a days worth) at no extra cost. This was unexpected and a great surprise. This included tidying up the remainder of the exterior of the house, vegetation removal etc. 4: He and his team worked hard to deliver a superior result and delivered an outcome ahead of time. 5: He and his team are highly professional, friendly and great to work with to discuss solutions on the fly and adjust the overall plan if needed. We will definitely be using Abs again for future landscaping needs!

I’ve used ACT House and Landscaping Maintenance twice now, and both times they’ve done an amazing job. This time, Abs and his team transformed my backyard by converting the area from natural grass to artificial turf. They did a full excavation, laid the road base and blue dust, and built a beautiful sandstone garden bed edging. In the front yard, they also removed the old gravel and replaced it with fresh white gravel, which completely lifted the look of the house. The experience, timing, and pricing were all great. Abs is professional, reliable, and takes real pride in his work. I’m very happy with the results and will definitely be using ACT House and Landscaping Maintenance again in the future. Abs and the team have been a pleasure to work with in fixing our yard. The guys worked very quickly to clean everything out and were very proactive in helping to find solutions to unforseen problems that arose in the middle of the job. For example, some of the garden bed sleepers we had intended to keep were unknowingly rotten at the base. Abs' team were able to repair the damaged garden beds without impacting the delivery of the project. Even the unexpected delay caused by a piece of equipment braking was handle expeditiously, with the team continuing to work into the Easter Long weekend to finish the job in time for hosting an event. The new lawn and additional garden edging looks great. I certainly appreciate the time Abs has taken to talk through the project and bring it to completion. I have no trouble recommending the team to prospective clients and will certainly be engaging them for other work myself.

Abs and team were fabulous. They took care of a variety of work that was needed and were kind and helpful and on time. Nothing was too big (or too small) a job. They also had excellent communication and really fast responses, along with great advice on garden projects. At my place they did some concreting work (including a levelling job that i couldnt get other contractors to even look at!), and a lot of landscaping including pruning, planting, mulching and all the rest. 10/10 service and work, will only use ACT House & Landscaping Maintenance from now on!

Abs and the team built our deck and pergola and completed the landscaping, and the final result exceeded expectations — the whole outdoor area looks completely transformed.
