Joe has just finished sanding and limewashing our bedroom (he did the rest of the house last year), and once again he was amazing! His attention to detail is incredible, he even helped move the furniture, and he treats our home with such care. What I admire most about Joe isn’t just his skill (which is outstanding), but the way he carries himself, warm, genuine, and trustworthy. Having him in the house feels like having family around. He doesn’t just “do a job”; he pours heart into it, and the results speak for themselves. Our bedroom now feels calm, airy, and beautiful. Joe just completed refinishing our floors in our newly purchased house in Snug. We had to arrange this all remotely, as we are interstate, and put a huge amount of trust in Joe. Joe did not disappoint. The floors are looking wonderful, he's a great communicator and a pleasure to work with. Cannot recommend Joe highly enough.

Joe is an absolute life saver! After going through the process of researching and teaching myself how to lay a parquet floor I (wrongly) thought that the sanding process would be a breeze, but after 5 days I’d made a right mess of it. I called Empire flooring and after speaking with Joe he came out the very same morning to take a look. He was able to help me out and book the work in within a week and a half and his communication throughout was excellent. His craftsmanship and attention to detail are second to none, it seems rare these days to find someone passionate about their work and craft. If you want top tier work Joe is your guy!

I cannot thank Joe enough for the incredible job he has done with our Tasmanian Oak floors. Our floors were a bit of a struggle as they had tannin marks and a deep orange/green tint to it. We contacted Joe for sanding and whitewashing the floors and the result has exceeded any possible expectation. The wood has now the white hue of the limewashing we were looking for while still showing the natural patterns of the wood. We struggled to find someone in Hobart who would provide with limewashing services, I've always wanted whiter floors and Joe knew exactly what he was doing. He took our booking with incredible short notice. He even went the extra mile to help me move all furniture out of the living room and put it back again after the job was finished. Joe was fantastic. Polished an exposed aggregate concrete slab, lay and polished our recycled timber flooring and polished existing wooden floors for us. Hard worker, great attention to detail. Extremely happy with his work. Would thoroughly recommend.
