Paul at Woodmill did the most amazing jobn with our floorboards that look a bit sad after years of use and the occasional dog-wee stain. They look right out of Vogue Living again, and should be a lot more durable now thanks to the matt polyeurethane. They got the colour spot on also. Highly recommended

I am sincerely grateful for the exceptional service and exquisite result I received from Woodmill Australia. I engaged Woodmill to sand and polish the floorboards in my kitchen and dining room that adjoins my living room and pool deck. The floorboards in this area looked down at heel and were very damaged in areas with deep grooves, water damage and ugly black marks in the wood. I had low expectations that the damage could be fully rectified and just wanted them restored as much as possible to tie into the rest of my house and prevent further damage. As a brief recap, I called the owner, Paul, on 7 January at around 1.30pm to request a quote. His daughter, Kristy, arrived at my house in around an hour on the same day to inspect and discuss my needs. I received the quote at around 8.30am on 9 January. I was thoroughly impressed up to that point and accepted the quote. My job was promptly done on 13 and 14 January by a wonderful team led by Adrian. Kristy arrived on the first day to introduce the team to me and make sure we were all on the same page. This further impressed me. Special care was taken by the team to minimise dust and fumes in response to me raising certain health issues and concerns about my furnishings and light fittings. I was awestruck and could not believe my eyes when I saw the result at the end of Day 1. Turns out my floorboards in this area were stunning blackbutt – they looked brand new and now had the most magnificent tones and sheen that tied beautifully into the rest of my house. Adrian arrived on the second day to apply the final coat of sealer and complete this absolute miracle and work of art. I cannot fault the workmanship, attention to detail and perfectionism applied by Adrian and the team. To top it off, Kristy and Paul arrived to greet me at the end and make sure I was happy. The whole experience was old-fashioned service and artisan workmanship at its best.
