Coastal Resin Works recently completed a blue epoxy floor in our warehouse and we couldn’t be happier with the result. The finish looks awesome and has completely lifted the whole space. What really stood out was the attention to preparation they properly ground the slab before coating, which shows they’re not cutting corners and are focused on doing the job right from the start. Great communication, reliable, and very professional throughout the process. Highly recommend Coastal Resin Works if you want a quality epoxy floor done properly.

Frequently asked questions

How much do flooring specialists typically charge?
Costs for flooring work typically vary widely depending on the type of job, the total area, material quality and the condition of the subfloor. Simple repairs or small installs are generally less than full removals, levelling or sand-and-polish jobs. The page shows live local pricing to help you compare quotes.
Do flooring specialists charge call-out fees?
Many flooring specialists charge a call-out fee to attend and assess the work, with separate charges for hourly labour and materials. After-hours or emergency attendance often attracts higher rates. It's a good idea to confirm any call-out and after-hours charges when requesting quotes.
When do flooring specialists need a licence?
Requirements vary by state and the scope of work; some floor finishing and covering work requires registration or a building licence. For example, Victoria lists Domestic Builder (Floor Finishing and Covering) registration on the BPC register, and Queensland uses QBCC Floor Finishing and Covering (Hard Sector) licences. Check the relevant state building regulator or licensing register for your area.
