  Darren from Coast Bound Flooring was excellent to deal with right from the quote situation through to the end of the job. Darren was very professional, a clean and tidy worker who always turned up on time and did an excellent job on my floors which were damaged due to a fire, they came up like new, I would have no hesitation recommending Darren.

  I don’t do reviews unless a business and its people are excellent. So I’ve been renovating for over 6 years and have had the interesting time of having to work with a wide and varied group of trades. Some great. Some horrific. This is to say that I have a wide range of experience to call on. Dareen is one of the best example of a trade getting it all right. All of it. Not just the final hurdle. The whole process. I was given Dareen as a recommendation from the stair installers who were brilliant and knew their stuff. Great start. I was given very clear information when Dareen came to show me what was possible and to quote.I’m what I was interested in. He showed me photos of jobs he’d done and explained difficulties that had been overcome which was interesting to say the least. When I got my end ready I let him know and he worked the first possible date. I was given really clear advice on what to do to make the place as job ready as possible. Which made a massive difference to how comfortable it was to upend our house while having the floors finished. During the job Dareen was incredibly helpful to me and my partner and nothing reasonable (yes you have to be reasonable too) was a problem. His offsider Carl was brilliant after seeing the gamut of job avoiding vacants that seem to frequent the labour force. Polite and helpful. Ready to help with anything necessary. And always getting things prepped without having to be asked. And clean. Kept everything tidy and in place. And efficient to boot. I’ve had floors sanded before. I’ve never seen this level of experience and understanding combined with such a high level of equipment and ability to use that equipment. I’ve never seen that in any trade really. From the moment they landed it was all stations go. They finished ahead of time (if you do everything they ask this is possible) and given the intrusive nature of floor sanding this is invaluable. I couldn’t recommend anyone more highly. I wish I was this capable. Ps. The floors look amazing. I never knew I could have such a wonderful, natural finish. Pps. He also supplies us with everything to care for the floors.
