I had a fantastic experience working with Ingold Floors and can't recommend them highly enough. Nick and Sam were incredibly professional and hands-on throughout the entire process. They worked closely with me to assess and repair the cracks in my garage concrete floor, and then applied a beautiful flake epoxy finish that completely transformed the space. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality really stood out. They took the time to explain every step, helped me choose the right colors and finish, and made sure the final result was exactly what I envisioned. The floor not only looks amazing but also feels incredibly durable and well-sealed. If you're considering epoxy flooring, look no further than Ingold Floors. Nick and Sam genuinely care about their work and their customers—couldn’t be happier with the outcome!

They were recommended by a friend after our timber floors were unfortunately ruined by our painters. They were amazing! On time and easy to contact. The floor looks great. Would highly recommend.

Frequently asked questions

How much do flooring specialists typically charge?

Costs for flooring work typically vary widely depending on the type of job, the total area, material quality and the condition of the subfloor. Simple repairs or small installs are generally less than full removals, levelling or sand-and-polish jobs. The page shows live local pricing to help you compare quotes.

Do flooring specialists charge call-out fees?

Many flooring specialists charge a call-out fee to attend and assess the work, with separate charges for hourly labour and materials. After-hours or emergency attendance often attracts higher rates. It's a good idea to confirm any call-out and after-hours charges when requesting quotes.

When do flooring specialists need a licence?

Requirements vary by state and the scope of work; some floor finishing and covering work requires registration or a building licence. For example, Victoria lists Domestic Builder (Floor Finishing and Covering) registration on the BPC register, and Queensland uses QBCC Floor Finishing and Covering (Hard Sector) licences. Check the relevant state building regulator or licensing register for your area.
