Kelvin and Josh did a great job on the replacement fence we needed and worked very hard to get the backyard secured quickly so our 2 dogs wouldn’t escape! Kelvin was willing to work with our request to use existing posts (where possible) to save us time, money and wastage and quoted competitively without a really long wait. Hard working and cheerful workers - they made the process happen with minimal disruption. Very happy with the new fence and can recommend Envy Fencing, particularly as there are not a huge range of good fencers around Bass Coast area.

Frequently asked questions

How much do fencers typically charge?
Fencing costs vary considerably depending on fence type, length, materials, site conditions and whether existing fencing must be removed. Simple repairs or short runs of standard post-and-paling or Colourbond typically cost less than full replacements or jobs on difficult ground. The page shows live pricing for common fencing jobs, and quotes usually include a call-out fee plus labour and materials, with after-hours work attracting higher rates.
Do fencers charge call-out fees?
Many fencers charge a call-out fee to attend and assess the job, particularly for small or diagnostic visits. This fee is generally separate from hourly labour and materials and may be credited against the job total. Confirm whether a call-out fee applies when you request a quote.
When do fencers need a licence?
Fencing work may require registration or a contractor licence in some states and territories; requirements vary by jurisdiction. Jobs that affect safety or involve pool fencing, structural posts or significant replacement work are examples that may trigger registration. Where applicable, look for a valid state contractor licence, ABN with GST, current public liability insurance, industry association membership (for example FIAA) and a White Card.
