Luke, cant thank you enough for the fabulous work you did at kindy. From the beginning to the end it was one of the most professional, friendly, efficient and high quality service and job I have experienced. Including your employees. They were so respectful and not one swear word. Plus the gift was an added lovely surprise. You have made everyone at kindy very happy indeed. Sue Inglis

I found the team from FenceHQ fantastic to deal with and would highly recommend. Luke was super helpful & accommodating (came around twice to inspect and adjust my quote, after I asked about an additional job). They were also great about changing the start date and worked in with my schedule. The team who completed my job were a young crew; really motivated and thorough. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with the quality of work and the price, which I felt was fair.

Fencing costs & guides

Frequently asked questions

How much do fencers typically charge?
Fencing costs vary considerably depending on fence type, length, materials, site conditions and whether existing fencing must be removed. Simple repairs or short runs of standard post-and-paling or Colourbond typically cost less than full replacements or jobs on difficult ground. The page shows live pricing for common fencing jobs, and quotes usually include a call-out fee plus labour and materials, with after-hours work attracting higher rates.
Do fencers charge call-out fees?
Many fencers charge a call-out fee to attend and assess the job, particularly for small or diagnostic visits. This fee is generally separate from hourly labour and materials and may be credited against the job total. Confirm whether a call-out fee applies when you request a quote.
When do fencers need a licence?
Fencing work may require registration or a contractor licence in some states and territories; requirements vary by jurisdiction. Jobs that affect safety or involve pool fencing, structural posts or significant replacement work are examples that may trigger registration. Where applicable, look for a valid state contractor licence, ABN with GST, current public liability insurance, industry association membership (for example FIAA) and a White Card.
How do I get a quote from FenceHQ?
