Copper Creek has now completed construction of the second and final stage of our combined cattle and sheep yards at Chatsworth, Binda, NSW covering an area of 100m x 50m. These new sheep-proof cattle yards have a holding capacity of 240 cows and 240 calves, or up to 2,000 ewes and lambs, with covered working areas and races for each of sheep and cattle at opposite ends of the yards. We have found the team very knowledgeable, professional, and hardworking to ensure a first class finish to the yards structures and stock flow. Any inevitable "bugs" were quickly ironed out and resolved to the satisfaction of all on site. Pre-planning and communication was also first class, so that the work flowed smoothly on site with out surprises or omissions. We are very proud of the finished job. I would recommend Copper Creek without hesitation for the construction of any similar project around the Central West of NSW.

Can't recommend this business enough. Jess and Ross were the kindest people who went above and beyond to help us with our fencing situation, in the most efficient and professional way. Communication was fantastic throughout the whole process, and they were very punctual. By far the best business that we have dealt with and we really can't thank them enough for everything they did when we were in a bind with our fence. Thanks guys!

Frequently asked questions

How much do fencers typically charge?
Fencing costs vary considerably depending on fence type, length, materials, site conditions and whether existing fencing must be removed. Simple repairs or short runs of standard post-and-paling or Colourbond typically cost less than full replacements or jobs on difficult ground. The page shows live pricing for common fencing jobs, and quotes usually include a call-out fee plus labour and materials, with after-hours work attracting higher rates.
Do fencers charge call-out fees?
Many fencers charge a call-out fee to attend and assess the job, particularly for small or diagnostic visits. This fee is generally separate from hourly labour and materials and may be credited against the job total. Confirm whether a call-out fee applies when you request a quote.
When do fencers need a licence?
Fencing work may require registration or a contractor licence in some states and territories; requirements vary by jurisdiction. Jobs that affect safety or involve pool fencing, structural posts or significant replacement work are examples that may trigger registration. Where applicable, look for a valid state contractor licence, ABN with GST, current public liability insurance, industry association membership (for example FIAA) and a White Card.
