Karen North Design

Karen is a relative of mine, so I’ve had her make blinds/curtains/cushions/bed heads/bed spreads etc for me for many years and have always been very impressed by the quality of the product and the attention to detail. Karen does a great job of interior design and can advise on colours for walls/floors etc as well as providing all the soft furnishings to make a house a home. I highly recommend Karen North Design to anyone thinking of re-furbishing as she does a great job.

Karen North Design is no longer operating. Karen suffered a heart attack in Sept '23 and is still not settled health wise. She would like to thank all of her lovely customers over her 40 years of trading.

Karen was recommended to me by a friend. It seems that is how all her work comes to her. She has never advertised but for 40 years traded by recommendations. I was not disappointed. Not only was she on time, on budget, but the product was faultless. I understand that her moto is if she wouldn't hang the item in her home, then she wouldn't hang it in mine. And she does the installation herself. She doesn't trust fitters to do a perfect job. You know, if she has a problem with one screw going in straight, she will tell you. And she is probably the only person who uses a laser for levels. I am more than happy with my blinds and curtains. In the process of building my house, the work done by Karen was the only item that was stress-free, fully informative and 100% right. She walked in, walked out and there were no problems of any sort. Her 40 years of experience certainly shows.
