Couldn't recommend Steve and his boys enough! We had nothing but dramas with the weather for 2 months but Steve was so helpful and always came out on his days off to check how wet the ground was. SCS is so well priced and did an amazing job with the terrible lay out of our land. We will definitely use them again.

Concreting costs & guides

Frequently asked questions

How much do concreters typically charge?
Costs vary widely depending on the type of job, its size, site access and whether demolition or disposal is required. This page shows live pricing for your area; most concreters typically combine a call-out fee with an hourly labour rate plus materials, and after-hours work usually attracts higher rates.
Do concreters charge call-out fees?
Call-out fees are common and usually cover travel and the initial assessment. That fee is generally separate from hourly labour and materials, and you may see higher charges for after-hours or emergency attendance.
Do concreters need a licence in Australia?
Yes. Concreting for residential building work generally requires a licensed contractor across Australian states and territories; in NSW licences are issued by the Building Commission NSW (formerly NSW Fair Trading). You should expect providers to display a valid state contractor licence, an ABN with active GST registration and evidence of public liability insurance.
Is SCS Concreting licensed?
Yes. SCS Concreting currently shows an active trade licence on SureQuote.
How do I get a quote from SCS Concreting?
